As usual, West Oxfordshire District Council has revised the dates that they will be collecting household waste and recycling over the festive period.
In most of Chadlington the normal day is a Monday but both 26th December and 2nd January are Bank Holidays this year. So rubbish will not be collected until Wednesday, 28th December after Christmas and Wednesday, 4th January after New Year. Extra recycling can be put out in open cardboard boxes or clear bags but glass must go in the recycling bins. Extra food waste can be left out in your kitchen caddy.
The following week the collection will be on Tuesday, 10th January and not Monday, 9th January. Normal Monday collections will resume on Monday 15th January.
Garden waste collection is suspended until Monday, 15th January from 25th December, when you can put real Christmas trees, holly. ivy and mistletoe in your bin.
