Each year, around the last weekend in June, an extraordinary variety of musical performances take place in the most exquisite venues in Chadlington and the surrounding villages. The Dean & Chadlington Summer Music Festival has become a true highlight of the summer for music-lovers and features world class artists and ensembles.
Founded in 2007 by three local musicians of international acclaim – mezzo-soprano Claire Bradshaw, tenor Richard Coxon and guitarist Craig Ogden, the festival runs for three or four days and includes early morning and twilight concerts, a gala picnic concert at Ditchley Park, and more recently a singing competition highlighting the achievements of upcoming young singers at the start of their careers.
