This year the Parish Council has been renewing our local public facilities, such as the picnic tables on the Stocks and the bus shelter on Chipping Norton Road. We are about half way through this programme and will be placing seating in the refurbished bus shelter and new benches near the Memorial Hall and on the corner of Chipping Norton Road and Church Road, close to the pavement with a view of the valley opposite. Donations kindly given by local residents and the Diplock Trust have covered most of the costs of the new benches and picnic tables.
