The Editor has received the following message from Lucinda Rowles, on behalf of the Directors of Chadlington Quality Foods:
“Little did we expect life to change so radically! During these unprecedented times which called for extraordinary measures, we would just like to say an enormous thank you to the CQF staff, as key workers they have been that extra mile to make sure friends, families, neighbours were all supported and the shop remained open to serve the community. We are immensely proud of them for a job well done.
Also huge thank you to Good Neighbours who initially helped with the deliveries to the vulnerable and those self isolating and then seven local residents stepped forward and offered their services; we are so grateful to them all. As everyone has appreciated this has brought a lot of people together and there has been a tremendous community spirit.
Finally, to our customers thank you for all the support you have given us and for shopping at CQF.”
