This spectacular close-up photo of a robin appeared in last Friday’s edition of The Guardian. It was taken by Mark Conisbee in Chadlington on 5th October.
He says of his picture “This little robin happily sings his morning song while I stand a few feet in front of him taking his picture. Once he completes his dawn chorus he promptly flies away. Like most of us, I think he enjoys the attention.”
