Nigel, the grand quizmaster reports that eleven teams battled at the first Tite Inn quiz of the 2017/18 season, musing over subjects such as ‘Science and Nature’, ‘Music’, ‘Arts and Books’ ‘Europe’ ‘Geography’ and ‘General Knowledge’.
Loyal followers of the quiz, ‘The Chad Valley Muppets’ captained by Howard Rowley, won by a single point from arch rivals the ‘Cherry and Whites’, led by Trevor Hobbs.
Sharing third place were Jon Alsop’s ‘Stonelee Crows’ and Philip Godfrey’s ‘Top Trumpers’.
The next quiz is scheduled for Sunday November 26th.
