Chadlington’s Cemetery path is in urgent need of repair. It needs resurfacing but the quote of £5000 is beyond the means of the church (who are responsible for maintaining the cemetery) at the moment.
So in the short-term is has been decided to go for a cheaper solution – to power wash it and patch up the concrete – with a view to undertaking the full resurfacing job at a later date.
The Church will be raising funds for this at the Christmas Coffee Morning on Saturday 3 December between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. It would be great if many local residents could go along and support this cause as it is important to all of us that people can easily visit the Cemetery without having to use a damaged path.
All contributions towards the resurfacing will be gratefully received.
