Please see the latest Forest Update for  Autumn/Winter 2016  –  here

In this edition, we bring you news of our recent activities including a variety of interesting workshops and an update from the walling group.

There is also information on how you can take part in the traditional craft of hedgelaying as well as our usual ‘What’s On’ calendar of events.

Come along to our AGM

Wednesday 7 December 2016 7.30 – 9pm at
The Corn Exchange,19 Market Square, Witney

I hope very much that you can attend the AGM of the Wychwood Project to hear how the Project is developing and the activities of the past year.

We aim to keep the business aspect of the meeting brief (agenda here) so that we will have plenty of time to hear from our speaker for the evening,

Stuart ‘the Wildman’ Mabbutt. Stuart is a professional wildlife gardener, writer and presenter. He will talk to us about how nature is the corner-stone of his life and work and how it gave him a reason and focus to carry on after being diagnosed with aggressive and debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis. (More information about Stuart can be found on page 5 of the Forest Update.)

Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM, so please can I encourage you to bring any friends you feel would be interested.

The Corn Exchange in central Witney has ample free parking, disabled access and good public transport links.

The evening will end with seasonal light refreshments and the opportunity to chat with Stuart, our trustees and other Wychwood Project members. Additionally, we will have a range of merchandise for sale including our ‘Wychwood in the Snow’ Christmas cards.

For more information about the project and how you might be able to get involved, have a look at the website  www.wychwoodproject.org
