July in Chadlington

picture for July blurb

Summer is here (whatever the weather) so there are fewer events planned and life in the village may seem to be quite quiet. With friends, family and neighbours away, now’s a good time to get out and socialise with other locals joining in activities that carry on throughout the season. So why not enjoy a game of bowls, as a participant or spectator?

The Chadlington Bowls Club continues to offer a ‘Roll Up’ for all comers on a Tuesday evening, and there are matches alternate weekends and in the league on Thursday evenings. See the Notice Board outside the club on Church Road for more details. The Women’s Institute also meets on the second Tuesday of the month, see the Events listing for further details.

And you can always catch up with local news and views at the Tite Inn and Café de la Post. There’s always something to do and see in Chadlington – on 14th July there’s even a vintage cars rally coming through the village.
