The District Council is preparing its Annual Budget for 2016/17 and Medium Term Financial Strategy up to 2024/25.

The Council is faced by a number of significant financial pressures including cost pressures imposed upon it by Oxfordshire County Council of in excess of £0.5m over the last two years in respect of waste disposal and other environmental services.

More significantly the grant from government is falling rapidly from £1.5m in 2015/16 to almost zero by 2019/20.

After five years of council tax freezes, the Council will need to make some difficult choices between council tax/fees and charges rises or service cuts.

We welcome your views by completing the survey above.
